Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer competitive pricing & discounts for Military, Cash & full replacements for certain trades. Please feel free ask about our seasonal discounts & available pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically we start with a conversation about your upcoming projects. Bring in some of the details to assure we are on the same page. After our conversation (via email, phone or text ) We set an appointment to go over your project onsite. This will give us the opportunity to introduce Mountaintop Construction & become familiar with the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
High school graduate. My father was a Mason, I've worked in the field since I was 15. I was in the Bricklayers union Local #1 for several years. Before that I was in the labors union Local #563 for 7 years. I framed houses for 6 years. I've passed the IBC International Building Code test. I have licences with building departments all over the state.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father was a contractor & built homes. Started helping out on our properties, then weekends, summers until I could do it full time

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have been so fortunate to work with some really amazing folks.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The most recent was a 120 year old home in Park Hill. We removed several layers of roofing & flashing. Full gutters windows & siding. This was not a small or easy project. We were on this project full time for 2 months. It was a full restoration

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
First be sure your contractor is knowledgeable in the field. Then talking with someone that can get the work done with craftsmanship & in a timely manor.. You don't want a painter showing up to build your deck. Check reviews. Then ask yourself if you can see yourself working with them. Do you feel confident they can 100% satisfy you?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Depends on the project. But project details & the process. Ask all the questions you want to know. If your contractor can answer them to your liking...........you may have found who your looking to hire!
