What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Have you ever worked with an unresponsive, unprofessional and annoyingly irresponsible contractor or service provider? Yea, we have too. That is the exact reason why we started this business. Have no fear, those days are over! We are customer focused. Meaning every thing, every material we purchase, every email we send is focused purely on your experience and satisfaction. We are over communicators and each of our clients get their very own client portal where they can see project information real-time.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are certified general contractors. We have been in the construction industry for over 15 years, but above that, we have over 30 years combined experience in customer service.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are not passionate about roofs and construction. We are interested in it, we enjoy it, but if someone tells you their passion is roofing, you’ll probably raise an eyebrow to say the least. What we are passionate about is YOU! Colorado Native is first and foremost a customer service business, we happen to provide construction and restoration services because it is a vertical that customer experience can shine the brightest.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our customers come in all shapes and sizes. We specialize in residential homes but we love all of them.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently had a hail restoration project where the initial claim was denied. We worked with the insurance agency and the homeowner to get everything covered by insurance. From start to finish the project took a little over a month to work through insurance. The actual installation was done in a day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Two things: 1) Communication is key. The number one complaint homeowners have about general contractors is a lack of communication. This is why we pride ourselves on overcommunicating. 2) Make sure they are licensed, insured, and local! There are many roofing companies that fly in to town for hail season and are gone as soon as the roof is up. If issues arise, they are no where to be found. We are Colorado Natives, we live here, our families are here and we are invested in this community.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) What type of materials and class ratings of those materials are you quoting on. 2) What warranties come with the project. Both material and workmanship. 3) Are you a local company. 4) Do you offer financing 5) What type of communication should I expect.
