What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Elite Rooter charges by the job not the hour so our clients know the price before we start and there are no surprises afterwards. Please ask about coupons that we often have for our drain cleaning services. We always offer 15% discounts for our seniors, military and educators. Coupons/discounts cannot be combined.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We schedule same day appointments as needed or we can schedule at a time and date that works best for you. Once scheduled you will get a call from our technician when they are on their way to your home/business. Upon arrival the technician will diagnose the plumbing problem, communicate with you possible solutions and then if approved by you, the technician will start the work. We do not charge any trip fees and other hidden costs. All estimates are complimentary.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Elite Rooter is a state licensed, full service, plumbing company. This means that we have to maintain industry standards to stay licensed. All of our technicians are experienced plumbers, with years of in the field knowledge and are certified. We believe in constant education and training. We have training sessions at our office 3 times a week where we discuss and train on all aspects of plumbing so we can provide a truly Elite experience to our clients.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Elite Rooter is a small group of highly experienced and trained individuals. We all came through the ranks in the plumbing industry and were limited whilst working for larger companies and not being able to provide the personalized service we wanted to. Elite Rooter has a small company mentality, whilst offering large company resources, which allows all of us the take charge of the personalized service we desire. We love this industry and being able to help others on a daily basis.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Elite Rooter focuses its services on residential customers. We also work on commercial properties, largely through relationships that we have built over the years. We get great satisfaction in being able to respond to our customers quickly and efficiently and hopefully make their day better as a result.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We often respond to blocked drains, overflowing toilets. Recently it was very rewarding to retrieve a lady's wedding ring which mistakenly fell down her kitchen sink drain. It only took a few minutes and we were able to reunite the ring with its very relieved owner!!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ensure the provider is licensed. This shows the company is legitimate, the plumbers are held accountable by the state, the company has the required insurance certificates and is capable of doing a great job. Ensure the provider provides warranties on all their work, which shows they are confident in standing by their work and if something happens they will be there to fix it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ensure you are happy with your service professional. Was he/she pleasant, professional, respectful of your home and time on the initial visit. Do your research, ask questions, check their license and insurance credentials. Make sure you fully understand the scope of work being performed and the related costs. If you are not sure, stop and ask questions until you are satisfied and comfortable.
