Set up a phone call with the customer and discuss how we can assist, then set up a time at the home to go over work needed and complete and estimate.

Military Veteran 6+ years in residential construction

Make sure you can trust whoever you are working with. Ensure the contractor/ handyman has GREAT communication skills. This is KEY!
