What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We always like to give our customers the best price possible with quality materials through our suppliers. We offer a free estimates to provide pricing on all projects. We don't offer estimates minor repairs as our project minimum is $1,000.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We prefer to set up an appointment in the beginning to provide customers with an estimate on pricing. When ready to move forward, we require that all customers sign a contract with a 50% deposit. We normally ask for 2 to 3 weeks notice so that the project can be scheduled on our calendar.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I completed three years of college focused on construction management and I’m always looking for opportunities and workshops to improve myself. I have a lifelong list of experience beginning as a very young man with my father and brothers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was raised in this industry through working with my father and brothers. Construction remodel has been an industry that my family has been involved in for many years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Homeowners, multi housing residential property managers and owners, commercial building property managers and owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

XLT Construction did a full remodel for a resident which consisted of a master bathroom, kitchen, complete flooring, and a hall bathroom that was 6 weeks total. Each room and flooring were scheduled as a separate phase so not to disturb the residents way of life too much.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always look to see if they have good reputation, good ratings, and are members of BBB with an active license, insurance and bonding.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The questions that we like customers to consider are: - Are you licensed and bonded? - How long are you been in business? - How long till you can start a project? - Do you have employees or do you subcontract? - How long my project is going to take to finish?
