What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our technicians operate off a fixed price chart that is provided to them by our company. Our company leverages our purchasing power to provide our customers the best pricing in the industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Upon fielding a call for one of our customers, we schedule a on site visit to trouble shoot or inspect the job site, so that we can provide the customer with an ACCURATE quote. Quoting over the phone, site unseen, causes lots of issues, so we try to avoid that if at all possible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Every technician goes through a rigorous 4 year apprenticeship with a Senior Technician, where they have to demonstrate a certain level of craftsmanship and problem solving abilities before graduating to a full blow service and installation technician that is able to perform the work solo.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I am a second Generation Garage Door Contractor, with a true passion for perfection. We hire only the best craftsman, because when we do a job, we put our name on it and stand behind our work.

We work with a plethora of different types of customers including the following: commercial property owners, contractors, property management companies, government municipalities, realtors, insurance companies and most importantly Home Owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We just repaired a residential garage door customer who's garage door was stuck with her car stuck inside. She was late for work and needed someone out there IMMEDIATELY. We dispatched one of our Tech's Troy, who arrived to her house within 30 minutes and had the problem resolved and had her on her way to work approximately 30 mins after arrival. Needless to say, she was EXTREMELY HAPPY,

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is always smart to verify that your contractor is LICENSED with the CSLB and that they carry Workers Comp and General Liability insurance, for you protection. There is a lot of unlicensed activity and I hear a lot of horror stories about jobs that have gone horribly wrong and end up costing the customer a lot of money, heart ache and pain.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should have very basic information available for the dispatchers, when they call in like a brief description of what is wrong with the door, opener or gate and they should know their schedule and/or availability to meet a technician on site for us to able to trouble shoot and identify the problem.
