Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer veterans and senior discounts as well as first 100 customers. It would be a percentage, or other services provided depends on the situation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First visit would be a full evaluation, going over with the customer as to what I had discovered. I’d then explain to the customer the main issue of their problem and what may have caused that issue. I’d go over the parts and how they operate, and let them decide if it’s something they would like to get fixed or if they want to wait it out. There’s no obligation or pressure in what they would Like done to their own garage door. I do treat every door like it’s my own.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I did fly out of state to take courses on garage doors and since then I’ve been out in the field getting more and more familiar with customers issues with their garage door.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was asked if I liked solving problems for people that rely on something on a daily basis.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
There had been a lot of customers that just can’t afford they unexpected expenses which I am able to work out separate payment plans with no interest to make sure they are able to continue on their daily activities using the garage door. Loyalty is something I take to heart.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Customer thought he needed a new door but looking at his situation, all he needed was a tune up, few replacements and saved him a lot more than what other companies were telling him what he needed.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would ask or call around to see what their issue can be based on explaining what’s going on with their door. This will give them a heads up on what they’re up Against.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would hope customer’s would think of longevity of their door, the safety aspect as well as the price of what needs to be done. I would look for 3 things. The price of the service, the service provided as well as the how convenient it can be for customers to call if any issues occur.
