Introduction

Trailhead Tree Service provides pruning, removal, and preservation (cable and bracing) services. We also prune shrubs and can plant trees for you. With ISA certified arborists on staff, Trailhead has the expertise and experience to perform the required work effieciently and safely. Our equipment includes a 72' aerial lift, providing us safer and more effective access to care for the canopies of large trees or remove trees too dangerous for climber access. This lift will fit through a 36" gate allowing us to get into fenced backyards or tight spaces and otherwise inaccessible areas. Also able to squeeze through 36" gates is the mini skid-steer. This little bulldog will grab and haul out large log pieces and bundles of limbs, saving our backs! At Trailhead Tree Serivce, we take pride in our care for trees and in leaving behind a cleaned up jobsite. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and makes customer service a priority.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is project specific. Factors influencing the cost of a project are size of the tree, scope of work, access to the tree, and level of risk involved. A site visit is the most effective means by which to provide a fair and accurate quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The customer will explain their objectives. With this information, we can then provide input and recommendations as arborists and provide a quote for the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have two ISA certified arborists on staff.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residential, commercial, and municipal.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Large Maple Reduction Pruning: Using our 72’ spider lift, we were able to meet the client’s objectives of removing deadwood and reducing the maple canopies to minimize the risk of limbs breaking over the house.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be sure they are licensed, bonded, insured, and qualified to perform the work. Check the reviews.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should first determine their objective in having tree work performed. Some common objectives are hazard limb reduction or removal, deadwood removal, view improvements, aesthetics, roof clearance, lawn and driveway clearance, canopy reduction, and whole tree removal. Performing work to meet any of these objectives requires the proper training, experience, knowledge, and equipment. Be sure the professionals you hire meet this criteria.
