Introduction

We provide affordable Tree removal with full clean up and haul away. We have the training and equipment to get your tree removed safely. We have climbing gear so we can reach trees that are close to buildings or that are hard to get to with equipment like fenced backyards. We offer professional grade pruning as well, we have studied the art and science of pruning so we know where and how to cut back branches to optimize the health, form and function of your tree. If you have branches too close to or touching your house, branches that need trimming to increase walking or driving clearance, a tree that needs to be shaped to increase its visual appeal in your landscape, or a tree that has some branches that died and needs to have them removed, we can take care of it all.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I try to be competitive in my pricing. The range of prices for tree services varies wildly. I have had customers tell me they got quoted a lower price, but the guy seemed sketchy, so they went with me. I have also had customers tell me they got quoted more than double what I was charging. So, its worth getting multiple bids and checking that your pro of choice is insured.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The ideal scenerio is that you send me a photo of your project with a brief description- ie "want this tree removed" then I respond with a bid or set up a time to see the job in person. I will always provide a bid by text so we have written agreement with a set price. We will then set a day of service, my crew and I will show up that day, take care of the project, and while my guys are doing final rake up I will walk the job site with you to make sure you are happy with it and collect payment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I flew out to a professional tree climbing/cutting school in North Carolina and completed their training course. In addition I have prior experience working at heights with ropes from climbing cell phone towers in Alaska.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I moved to Utah I could not believe what people were paying for tree removal- every price I heard sounded way too high. That sounded like a market opportunity, so I decided to start a tree company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds. I prefer friendly and nice ones. If you are an unfriendly jackwagon please hire someone else.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I really like climbing trees. Recently a customer had two large aspen trees that had died right behind their home. On all sides there were obsticals to bringing down the trees, more trees, a garage, the house, and a fence, so there was only an area the size of a small office right next to the trees to drop branches into. I climbed up, disassembled the trees, throwing the pieces down into the landing zone. I threw down the branches first to make a soft landing pad that would protect the lawn underneath. Next I cut and threw the trunk down in chunks as I climbed down. The whole process took about an hour. When all wood was on the ground my crew and I dragged all the branches to the front yard and threw them in the trailer.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get multiple quotes and as for ask for an insurance certificate. It’s not a bad idea to check google reviews as well.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Why should I hire you over your competitors? Are you insured? Do you carry workers comp?
