Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is pretty straightforward but varies depending on the magnitude of the job and how long it will take. Looking to make the job cheaper is common in all practices and I have no problem discussing options to save or make it more affordable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Other than gathering the necessary personal information, my process for new customers and returning customers isn't all that different. I like to walk the property with the client and get a feel for what their expectations and/or visions are. We have different ideas about what trees can offer us so priorities change from one job to the next.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been in the tree care industry for over 20 years and am a certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I saw an ad in the paper "Do you like trees?" I responded, took the job, and have been working in the industry since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Homeowners and Business owners. Of all ages and economic circumstances.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I work hard to make my clients happy so I am fond of all of my jobs that end in customer satisfaction. I've craned trees over houses and pruned shrubs with hand clippers. When the customer was left smiling , the feeling was the same in both occasions. Most of my jobs take anywhere from a half day to a couple of days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Proof of insurance is always a good start. Make sure they take the time to discuss your trees with you. Its important that you trust this person with health of your trees plus the safety and care of your property
