What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies per job and is determined by many variables such as, obstacles, weather, fuel and material costs, just to name a few.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I schedule a meeting, I listen to their needs, I come up with a game plan for them, introduce a price or price range, especially if they're shopping, agree on a price, date n time, then execute than plan to complete their job. I also take time to answer an questions or concerns and address them accordingly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

25 yrs in the biz. Also have my Home Improvement license.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Have done it for 25 yrs part-time and kind of fell into it as a business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All tree work, stumps, landscaping, hardscaping, fencing, decks, planting, mulch, clean up, driveway resealing, firewood, and more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We did a football field's length of western red cedar shadowbox fence for my customer. It came out perfect and the customer was extremely happy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't always go for the cheapest price or the most popular name, sometimes the middle of the road contractor is your man/woman.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would like them to know that, there are still honest people in the world trying to make an honest living. I am one of them.
