Introduction

At Tree Houdini, what sets us apart is our ability to climb trees in areas equipment can’t get to. Along with our extensive history in tree work and cleaning up natural disasters across America we are your premier tree service experts. From living in and climbing the redwoods of Northern California, to climbing and cutting the pine trees in Colorado and the palm trees from Texas to Florida, we have been there! We have sank our saws into those trees while swinging from ropes, making them disappear like a magician performing…..like a Tree Houdini! Poof…Done! After all those years of excitement and anguish our communities have been through, we came and put our roots down in Miami County, Ohio, and brought the magic we perform here, for our families, for our community, for our neighbors, for YOU!! Give us a call today and let us see what magic we can do for you! **********

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Here at Tree Houdini, we always provide free estimates! We can go over multiple different routes to perform the job to fit your budget as well, such as removing all of the wood at an increased price or even leaving it in manageable pieces on the property for a lesser amount!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We would reach out to you and introduce ourselves and see when the best time that fits your schedule would be to come out and look at the project you have and see how we can be of assistance. We would discuss any questions and concerns you have about your particular job, as well as specifics about the job. For instance, is the tree in the back yard or front, is it dead or overhanging a house or powerline, is it just a tree in a field you want cut down and things like that.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have an enormous amount of experience in the industry that spans all over the country and includes fires, tornados, powerline clearance, land clearing, and all the way to simple residential jobs. If it has to deal with trees, we have dealt with it. We hold numerous certificates all the way from the beginner groundman up to foreman and advanced rigging procedures, as well as being certified in safety and electrical hazard awareness which provides us an edge when it comes to hazardous job!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father started out as a logger in the mountains of northern california 40 years ago and has been a certified arborist for the last 20 years while also running his own tree company. That motivated me as a person to learn all I can from everyone I can, make it my own and to set a new bar in the industry. It is just part of who I am as a person!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with FEMA on disasters, PG&E in California, XCEL in Colorado, parks and trails in many other states, churches, as well as residential communities taking care of your local neighborhoods and trees.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We just recently completed a job in a backyard of a property. The base of the tree was 5' wide and measured around 100' tall with a canopy spread of about 80'. It was right next to the back fence and was overhanging a total of 4 yards, a house, 2 sheds and a pool, and we only took out a single 5' section of fence to drag brush thru the other yards safely. It was a local job that took 4 days to complete due to the extensive and precise amount of rigging that was required as well as the fact that it had to be climbed in its entirety from start to finish. We had to drag all of the brush to the front yard thru a 4' wooden gate. When the job was completed, we cleaned and raked up and made it look amazing, almost like the tree.... disappeared!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take a moment and read the reviews and more importantly look at the photos. Are the workers being safe? Target reviews and pictures that are similar to the scope of work you are looking to have completed as well as the character of the company. Take into consideration whether they are a local company or a franchise. You want to be taken care of properly and treated as a person with a real concern, not just "another tree to be done"!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Run scenarios thru your head about how you think the job would be done, and then ask how they would do it, even if you haven't the slightest clue of where to start. It may be intriguing.
