Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is simple. We will typically run a fixed bid on jobs with a defined scope. On a job with more variability, we will run T&M ("time and materials") plus a fee of 15-20%. When you use T&M you get a cost breakdown so you know exactly what you paid for. All consultations and estimates are free.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will give you a call and talk high level about the job. We will then walk the site in person or jump on a video call for a consultation, whatever is appropriate. We then will get you an estimate. Once you accept the estimate we schedule you and complete the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All team members are trained on laser guided machinery and have decades of construction experience. The new technology and experience combined give you high quality and efficient work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Working in Montana means there is constant demand for site development work (land clearing, dirt work, etc.). We also work as a GC so the combination made sense.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
A wide variety. We have worked commercial and residential projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project we are proud of is the construction of an educational recreation building for the REACH Foundation in Proctor. Working for a charity and giving back always makes the work worthwhile. We also were able to complete the full scope, grading, driveways, concrete, and construction, which we enjoy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you are working with someone highly competent. Poor site development almost guarantees issues down the line on your property, and will lead to structural damage long term. Poor construction itself will also lead to costly downstream issues. Make sure any job, basic or complex, has a competent builder on the job.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
(1) What are your goals for the project, (2) What is your rough budget, (3) Are you ready to hear news that doesn't align with your expectations pre construction, (4) How will this work solve a problem or add value to my property, (5) When do I want to get started?
