Introduction

I am an internationally certified arborist. Certified by the ISA which if your unfamiliar with is the international society of arboriculture. We have been in business since 2019 and would like to keep expanding our business and providing tree care knowledge. I really fell in love with this industry once I started to learn and understand the science behind how trees grow, how root systems develop, and how to identify diseased trees and treat them. The chainsaws and equipment are definitely a bonus!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates are some of the lowest in the valley. We try not to assume debt and buy our equipment after waiting and saving. Which really transfers to the customer because we don't carry the overhead the big guys do. We don't show up in brand new trucks that unfortunately gets transferred onto the client when it comes to estimates. We also are happy to price match any company.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To set up an in person free consultation to discuss your concerns and for me to tell you what I think should be done for the health and longevity of the trees and shrubs! I also just like to give some info about how to fertilize and a good watering schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an internationally certified arborist with over 7 years of industry experience. To become certified, you have to take a comprehensive test on all aspects of arboriculture. If one section failed you fail and cannot re-test for one year. it's very similar to a 4 year degree. I am also required to get ceu's (continuing education units) to maintain my certification because we are in an ever evolving industry with new research coming out every day, it seems! I love the challenge it brings and love to continue learning about this awesome industry, especially in these dire times of climate change.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My crew and I were on a large property. I found a tree that I saw to be a kind of fun weeping spruce, and I thought we could make it a dinosaur spruce! We did it in about an hour and a half. Needless to say, the clients' kids loved it!
