What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It depends on the scope of the work. For example, is rigging required to lower limbs to avoid a structure. The size of the tree and the diameter of the trunk and the amount of wood are all factors in estimating the amount of time required to complete a job. I alway look at the project in person and provide a free estimate. Everything is explained upfront.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Talking to the customer to understand what they would like to achieve so that I can exceed thier expectation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Certified Arborists with 20 plus years of hands on experience. Pruning should take place from the outside point of growth. Over-lifting and hollowing out the center of a tree are bad practices that hurt your tree and do not prepare them for storms. This requires the knowledge and right equipment to accomplish.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began working in the Landscaping industry when I graduated highschool. I have always been a leader and have a well rounded background with 20 years of hands on experience.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with commercial accounts as well as residential.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently trimmed a magnificent Grandfather Live Oak in close proximity to a home and power lines. The owners were so happy how we transformed their tree into a beauty.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a Certified Arborist to do your tree work. This helps to ensure that they know and understand what your specific trees needs are.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The cheapest price is not always the best value... hiring the wrong person to prune your beloved trees, can cause significant damage that your tree may not recover from.
