It's all about your dog! We are Ron and Karen Knight and we are the owners of DogWatch of East Coast Florida. We have about 30 years of customer service and education experience! We have lived on Florida's East Coast since the 1970's, we have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 3 granddogs and our own happy and free dogs, Lutra, a Black Lab Retriever Mix, and Hazel, a yellow lab. We get extremely excited about sharing our DogWatch products with our friends and neighbors! We are hands-on owners and what we care about most is customer service, meeting our clients and, most importantly, meeting their pets! We provide competitive pricing for a truly superior product!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We can do a consultation over the phone or email but we prefer to come out and meet you and your dog and see if we and our products are a fit and so we can customize the system to your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have 30 years of customer service, training and education experience. We are a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We love dogs! We saw this product work and keep so many dogs safe and we found out there was a dealership in the area we were moving to and we got started right away!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Dog and cat people are amazing folks...they love their animals and we love to work with them!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had a customer who had been forced to keep there dog on a long lead attached to a tree at their home. The dog was miserable and became unfriendly. They called us, we installed a fence a few days later and did the training the same day. We went back a few weeks later and the dog was running happily in the yard and greeted us in a super happy way...freedom from the leash changed his demeanor entirely!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

DogWatch dealers are local dealers who not only provide the best product on the market but really provide peace of mind and unparalled service because we are local and truly care, not a corporate worked who doesn't really care about living and working alongside our customers in our communities...choose DogWatch!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The main things to think through are where you want to contain your pet, either inside or out, where you want his or her freedom and boundaries to be and also make sure that you will have time to work with your dog for a few minutes a day that first 2 weeks as well after the initial training. The training makes all the difference! We are here to help with that as well!
