Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
One of my highest priorities is providing high quality for a fair and reasonable price. Im not here to rip people off, I’m here to provide a top notch service at a reasonable rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to start off with a meet and greet. Get to know my customer, and let them get to know me. I feel this is very important to the overall success of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been trained over the past 6 years by some of the best in the business. Before I decided to go out in my own, I worked as an apprentice for over 4 years doing full residential remodels from top to bottom. I’ve been trained in everything from framing to drywall, and all the cosmetics on top.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in this industry when I was just 16. My dad would bring me to work with just as an extra hand, eventually he started giving some bigger responsibilities and I fell in love with the trades. I knew then that I didn’t want to do anything else.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with all types of customers. Customers looking for full remodels, quick fixes, customers looking for a long term handyman and customers who just need a light bulb changed. I’m happy to help any customer that could use the help!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently removed a popcorn ceiling, applied a skim coat, texture, and painted afterwards. My favorite part of the project was my customers reaction. When he saw the completed work, he began to tell me how happy he was because the home was the first thing he’d ever owned, and he was so happy to see it coming together. This project took approximately 1 week to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
If your looking to hire, do your research! Check references, ask for photos, and meet them in person! There are a lot of guys out here giving us contractors a bad rep.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Be sure you know exactly what you want. There’s nothing worse than paying a ton of money for a project that in the end you aren’t in love with.
