What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing normally includes labor and materials plus tax. Material rate is based on expectation of quality product. Labor rate is fixed determined by level of effort and trade.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Job walk/meet and greet, outline job and expectations, generate quote outlining pricing and schedule expectations, collect deposit and schedule day 1 start and collect remaining balance upon completion of job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 10 years OJT in meeting and exceeding customer expectations in many application of different types of coating from interior/exterior residential painting to commercial and government epoxy, urethane, and other multi component coating for industrial, marine, and military applications.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started with our own investment property and the many projects that come with a full renovation.

We have worked with other diy'ers, investors, flippers, renters, home owners from local farmers, mechanics and bus drivers to physicians, lawyers and top level business executives for companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had a request to work with a family that needed their fence to be repaired so that they could secure the yard from pests coming in and their kids and dog from going out. They had a limited budget and based on other information were told it couldn't be done for the budget they had available. we assessed their needs and were able to nail down the most important thing to them. Quality and longevity. So we gave them a quote on premium lumber and were able to be flexible on schedule. The end result was a brand new fence with quality hardware and pressure treated lumber with customers that never expected for the whole thing to be accomplished or just repaired for that matter. Next with the money they were going to be saving to get it done by someone else they'll be scheduling us to come back out to stains the fence to the color of their choice.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be prepared to answer lots of questions from the people that take the time to ask you about you project scope and your expectations. If the potential contractor is asking lots of questions its because they want to make sure they can accomplish the work as you envision it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is my budget? What are my expectations? Am I willing to compromise quality of product for longevity of finished job? Do you want the best quality, best value or best price
