Introduction

We are the first company to integrate drones into our roof cleaning process. Over the years, we've tested every possible method of roof cleaning. From scraping with metal brushes to soft washing, we were still looking for a better way to clean and maintain roofs in the PNW climate. Our drones are capable of carrying up to 20 pounds of moss inhibitor and/or moss killer. Without the risk of anyone falling, we're able to reduce the overall cost of roof cleaning by more than 50%. While our method takes more time to show results, we're able to restore your roof without voiding the manufacturers warranty of your shingles.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For roof cleanings and drone treatments, we factor the size of your roof and the stories of your home. From here, we provide you a flat price without the added commission of a sales person or an estimator. If a customer looking to get our drone service can bring in 3+ other customers in the same neighboring area, we will offer a discount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most companies will send out an estimator (salesperson) before sending out a crew to service your roof/gutters for cleanings. We take a very different approach by providing an estimate over the phone or by e-mail by factoring the square footage of your home and the number of stories. For roof repairs and replacements/installations, we will usually send out an estimator so that the quote is very thorough.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Cleaning gutters is fairly straight forward. Cleaning asphalt shingles however requires a bit more skill and experience. For example, some home owners (and some contractors even) make the mistake of pressure washing the moss off a roofline. This accelerates the age of your roof and in some cases, destroys the shingles entirely. We use a much gentler approach that'll restore the look of your home while preserving the functionality of your roof. Previously working for a roofing company helped me discover many tips and tricks, as well as dos-and-donts of roofing.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have completed projects for commercial businesses, churches, hotels, condominiums, etc., although we do a lot of regular residential projects as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A customer contacted us who had recently bought a home. She was told that the “roof had just been replaced not too long ago.” She thought she had a smaller drainage problem, because the roof was retaining water (flat roof). When our estimator got there, he realized that this was more than a repair! The entire roof and drainage was installed incorrectly and that’s why it was retaining a lake on this poor woman’s roof! We knew we had to take emergency action and so we got her in the schedule immediately. The project took us 3 days.
