Introduction

AshCo Roofing and Construction supports our sister, Jennie Ashworth Taylor, our 7 nieces and nephews, and we hold high honor for Major Brent Taylor. Thank you for your service. We offer low monthly financing options on all of our jobs. We specialize in working with home owners to improve or repair their homes. We have the best roofing crew in the state and the best custom remodel and deck building crew as well. We understand that every job we do no matter the size or difficulty level effects you, your home and its value, and your family for years to come. To us it's not just work, but it’s building relationships we hope will last into the future. Your complete satisfaction is our number one goal. We truly enjoy seeing homeowners happy with the work we do for them. Most homeowners either simply do not have the time or the trade skills to complete repairs, we are the number one rated roofing contractor on Thumbtack but we do so much more including awnings, decks, gutters, and gutter protection, etc. We are happy to offer our many years of experience and expertise. Seeing a satisfied homeowner because of something we did for them leaves a lasting impression. We specialize in the work other contractors turn away or see as impossible. We also specialize in finding ways to do things that save time and money for you. Many contractors up-sell or even try to convince you that it’s worse or more than you thought. We will never do that and complete honesty is always a high priority. We want to build trust with you. After all, not only are you paying us your hard earned money, but you’re relying on us to do the work that’s needed correctly, accurately, and with quality. If you don’t hire us we both lose.😏

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
No job is the same, therefore, pricing is not basic. We pride ourselves on seeing the jobs beforehand to ensure we have accurate measurements, details, and needs of each homeowner. Every job is unique and deserves to be bid and priced as such. We are competitively priced with other contractors, but we will not compete just to get a job. We do every job with the same amount of effort, skill, and pride. We will never cut corners to save us money. We do the job right the first time so you are not redoing it in the future or are unsatisfied.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once contact is established, we work with the customer to find a time where we can come to the home. We meet the customers and look at the work they need done. Once all questions are answered and we have the details we need, we can then create a free quote to email to the homeowner. We are always available for calls, texts, or emails, whichever the customer prefers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have over 50+ years combined experience in constructions and handyman work. There is no job too small or too big. Customer service and satisfaction is our number one goal.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We grew up around this type of work and have continued in this field ever since. We learned our valued customer skills and quality of work through those who taught us everything we know. This is not a job just to make money. it's a job to make others happy and feel good about the work we do every day.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with every type of customer possible. From the easy going homeowner, to the person who never really can decide what they truly want. Some are more difficult to please than others, but anyone in this field who says otherwise would be lying. People want perfection. They are paying for you to understand and complete what is in their minds and what they envision. "When you take a mans money, you take the kitchen sink that comes with it". Sometimes there is none and everything finishes without a hitch. Other times homeowners can have anxiety (especially on high costing jobs) and it can take longer to achieve your goals together. No matter the type, we strive to satisfy all and stand behind our work .Every homeowner deserves perfection, no matter his type.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently did a concrete job for a customer who had many others, including a friend tell him he needed to completely tear down his garage and start over, a $30,000+ job. Our goal is to the the highest quality job, meet building codes, and keep the cost as low as possible. We were able to figure out a way to not only fix the issue, but meet building code, and keep the cost to nearly a 1/10! This was probably the happiest customer we have ever had. Very satisfying as a business owner!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Never go with the lowest bid just to save money. Every contractor or handyman is going to make the same amount of money on a job, it all depends on what they will do or not do to make that happen. We highly recommend getting at least 3 different bids. Make sure you are comfortable with the contractor you want to hire. Are they easy to contact? Do they respond back to you? Do they guarantee their work? All of these are the factors that make a great trustworthy contractor. Even if you don't go with us, we want you to get the best job for the best price. We can help you to know exactly what you need, not what some will tell you you that you need. Our name is behind our work, we want customers to give us great reviews.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How much can you spend for this project? When are you ready to proceed? Do you know what you want, or are you needing advice? Do you feel comfortable with the person or company you are thinking of hiring?
