Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At The Roofing Center, we believe in offering a fair and honest price to every customer. Instead of charging a flat rate for Sqft on roofing, we figure out the exact components and labor on both replacements and repairs. This helps keep each individual project priced exact. When one of our technicians comes out they will do a walk of the project and put together a price for you on the spot! If you want to go ahead with the project we can get it booked and scheduled then as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
we come out and take a look at the project. We will take the time to look for all damage, document what needs to be done, and then go through the photos and videos with the customer. We then go through our solution and our estimate with them. If it is a go, we can sign paperwork, get any needed material ordered and schedule the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
As the owner of The Roofing Center I am a second generation roofer. I grew up working with roofing crews for my father's business, and spent every summer on job sites. As I got older I worked as an installer, and then in the office. I have truly worked in each position in the company and make sure we build each project based around that experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in roofing as a child working for my father's company. I spent each summer working on a roofing crew and learning the different types of roofing systems.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a roofing project on a historic home. The family had owned the home since they settled in the valley it was in. the old roof was 6 layers down to an adobe wall home, so it took a lot of work. It was very neat to be able to get the homes exterior restored and good to go for many many more years to come.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Check reviews, licensing, and insurance! Many many people are operating in a way that does not meet all state regulations. You want a company with history behind them, experience, and proper licensing etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Some helpful things to think through as the following: -How long do I plan to stay in the home? This is important for knowing what types of product longevity you should look into. - Do I want to change the aesthetics of my home? Many products are available that can significantly facelift a home -What existing problems have I had with my roof? - When would I like this project completed?
