What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our services are offered with up front cost agreements. There will never be any hidden fees. We do offer credit card payments but they come with a 3% service fee. Direct Deposit and checks are the most common payment method.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically we set up a time to meet up and look at what needs to be done, then after looking at the project I come up with a proposal and if it fits the customers budget we go ahead and put them on the schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our employees are professionally trained by the manufacturer's.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My dad had a shed building business, so I helped him ever since I was old enough to swing a hammer. And he did almost any type of work and so I learned mostly from watching him and from hands on experience. In 2013, I launched All Star Roofing LLC, We are leading the commercial roofing industry with quality products that perform.

What types of customers have you worked with?

To name a few: Sheraton Hotels, ARH developments, GBH developments, Solair Group, Nepco Structures, Salvation Army, and Twin City Properties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my favorite roofing systems is the SPF system. Some of its features include: *It’s adaptability to almost any substrate. *It is lightweight and yet completely water proof. *It adds R-Value to the building. *It pays for itself in energy savings. *Its sustainability when completed with our 85% reflective roofing systems. It comes with non-prorated, extendable warranties.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they demonstrate their products personally to ensure quality. Ask if they will be supervising the job personally or if all work will be completed with subcontractors.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

One of the first questions to ask yourself: Is the contractor I’m talking to a handyman or a professional? A large percent of our repair projects are fixing what handymen have done to try to repair your roof. While a lot of handymen have excellent short term solutions, they often end up causing more damage in the long term. One way to spot a handyman’s profile is to see if they have a service they specialize in, or if their services include, roofing, siding, lawn care, tree trimming and flooring etc..
