What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

You do not want the most expensive, nor the cheapest co tractor doing your work. They will both cost you, just in different ways. Go with the contractor you believe will give good work at a fair cost.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First ask what the customer wants to accomplish and history of the roof. Them meet on site to assess the condition and look for defects. Then put together a comprehensive site plan to address the needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

NRCA, Firestone applicator training, Carlisle applicator training, GAF applicator training, Versico applicator training, Johns Manville applicator training, Red Cross first aid, OSHA 8 hour course, CERTA train the trainer course, SFP application course.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started as a teenager working for my father. Learned all about old school type of roofing but it has been fun keeping up with all the innovations new products can bring to the table.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Individual property owners up to fortune 10 corporations. Different owners have different needs and expectations. We strive to meet both.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Customer was expecting to spend in well into five figures to replace a section of roof. We were able to identify the issue, repair the defects, and perform a water test to verify the leak was stopped in one day. Total cost less than $1,000.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet in person and do not give any contractor money until job is complete unless it is a large commercial reroof.
