What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We like to believe we have a fair and affordable pricing. We have always worked with our customers to make sure they don’t feel pressured into anything. We don’t ask for deposits unless it is a special type of material such as Metal, Slate, Decra, etc and that’s mainly for material because those are some of the most expensive materials that are also special orders. Other than special material deposits we like to complete the roof and have our customers satisfied with the job after which the payment for the roof is given.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always prefer meeting my clients when I first give the quote to properly go over the roof and what exactly they’re looking for and explain what my roofing process is.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father took me to jobs when I was younger. Started around the age of 11. Learned just about everything about roofing from my father and have since applied his work ethic into mine.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently replaced a roof on an Inn, the project took 7 full days to complete, the job was over 200 squares and was a massive project. It was a long week however those are always the best.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always go with someone you trust. There’s no rush in getting your roof replaced so it’s always best to choose someone local other than storm chasers to make sure you’ll be able to get a hold of them should a problem arise.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should think about what kind of material they’re looking for. 25 year shingles are cheaper than 30 year but only by a couple hundred dollars and yet the benefits of 30 year exceed the pricing. What color you’re thinking. Color is alway important because it’s what you and everyone else will be seeing when they look at your house. There’s not a lot of questions you have to think about. We always like to be thorough with my quotes and ask the customer the same questions.
