What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For cash bid estimate we will give you an option of Good, Better, and Best. This gives the customer options to fit their budgets. If it's an insurance claim then we will honor the claim amount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When we receive a new customer inquiry we will reach out via phone or email to introduce ourselves. Then we can either schedule a time to come evaluate the property that's in need of repairs. After this, we will follow up with either an estimate for repairs and if the insurance needs to be called we will walk the customer through the process and be there to help along the way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our team takes yearly training, usually in the winter to keep up to date with new building code changes, and new and improved roofing techniques and materials.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The owner, Bret Dickey started working in construction when he was 15. His first job was working alongside his mentor doing punch list repairs for Darling Homes. This led him to learn home repairs, then to fence building and roofing. He has a passion for construction.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with customers who need major repairs to full renovations. We know some people need to work within a budget while others are looking for custom repairs and renovations. Nothing is too small or big for our team.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A relator reached out to us to get their homeowner's roof replaced within one week. We were able to get an insurance claim filed, supplemented, negotiated, and installed a full roof replacement before the closing date. This shows that knowing the industry and the proper steps that need to be taken allowed us to help the homeowner and realtor in a timely fashion.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check for reviews from reliable sources. Ask them for references from past customers to verify their work. Make sure they are insured and offer a warranty for their work. And if possible ask when they were founded. It's ideal to work with a company that's been around for at least 5-7 years.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask for insurance information, past customer references, and warranty information. Ask them for multiple options for your project. This allowed you to see if they're just selling you on the most expensive option.
