What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our estimates are always free and transparent. We have fair pricing, and our goal is to always give more in value than we take in payment. We take great precaution in caring for your property while it is in our care, and our commitment is to always leave every project better than how we found it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First step is to have us inspect your roof so we can photo and video document everything and can show you what we’re seeing. Sometimes the roof is fine, and we can give you a report demonstrating that. If there are issues that need to be addressed, we advise you on the next steps and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision about your roof. Then we work together to make selections and we price out different options for you to consider. Once you select your roofing system, we will schedule your project, and keep you informed during the entire process. On the day of install, our project manager will be on-site to install our landscaping protection system and ensure the crews have everything they need to install the roof according to the highest industry standards.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have 2 professional designations from major shingle manufacturers (GAF Master Elite Certified Contractor and TAMKO Pro). These designations recognize our commitment to continuing education and exemplary workmanship. Because of these designations, we’re able to offer our customers extended warranties backed by the shingle manufacturers beyond the standard 5-year workmanship warranty.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After I got out of the Army in 2017, I got started working in storm restoration following the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey that affected the Texas Coast. Seeing the devastation from Houston to South Padre Island, I was committed to helping homeowners who have been affected from storms and also protecting them from the shady contractors who flocked to the area to take advantage of the disaster. Since then, I have continued helping my local community in Central Texas as “their friend in roofing” and have enjoyed creating opportunities for my guys and the crews to provide for their families.

What types of customers have you worked with?

There is no repair too small or project too big. Our customers range from small single-family homes and repairs up to large multi-family apartment complexes and low-slope industrial buildings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently, we were able to assist a family who was denied claim coverage by their homeowner’s insurance. We called for a second adjuster evaluation and were able to advocate for our clients to be given approval. They opted to upgrade their roof shingle to a Class-4 shingle to extend the life of their roof against Texas’ wild weather, and benefit from insurance premium discounts they wouldn’t have otherwise qualified for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet the contractor in person if-possible. Ask about the warranties offered. Ask about the insurance coverage offered. These are the most common ways of discovering if a contractor has the credentials and longevity to take care of you if something were to go awry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) Inquire about the manufacturer designations and certifications held by the roofer. 2) Ask how the roofing contractor plans to protect your property during the installation process. 3) Not all warranties are created equal. In general there are 2 types of warranties when you purchase a new roof. 4) Ask if the roofer pulls city permits for every job and installs necessary code upgrades to ensure compliance with local building codes in Killeen and regulations. 5) Inquire about the payment schedule and terms of payment.
