What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

DLV's pricing is based 100% on the job. In roofing there are many factors such as pitch of the roof, is the roof shingle, metal, rubber, ETC? An in-person inspection is almost always required to determine the price of the repair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A DLV Territory Manager will make contact and schedule an inspection as soon as possible. In an emergency situation such as a storm we will come out and TARP a roof right away.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our entire local leadership team and Territory Managers are all Certified and have completed Certainteed's Master Craftsman training program and testing. Every certificate is posted in our office.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are a 3rd Generation roofing outfit with 200+ years of combined experience. DLV was officially incorporated in 1999 in Asheville, NC.

What types of customers have you worked with?

AT DLV we have worked with homeowners directly. Realtor's, Builders, and Multi-Family Apartment/Condo complexes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently did a beautiful custom Landmark Pro shingle on a 12/12 and 9/12 roof with Standing seam metal accents on the low slope dormers and porches.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When searching for a roofing contractor ask them what certifications they hold. Do they offer any warranty? The language on most roofing products is very vague. We at DLV Roofing are the #1 provider though Certainteed when it comes to warranty on materials and craftsmanship.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long have you been in business? Are you licensed and insured? What is your turn around time?
