Introduction

I grew up in Zanesville, OH. After graduating from The Ohio State University and spending a few years in corporate America, I decided that the office life was not for me. I have over 15 years of professional experience in the home improvement industry. I became an independent contractor to better serve my clients in these challenging times. Sowers Contracting is dedicated to customer service, communication, fast reliable service, and a fair price. I work with homeowners to choose the best products, design and value for their home. I am married with 3 beautiful children. I love all things outdoors.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I try to be as fair as possible while operating at a lower overhead than the large corporate companies.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to meet with the homeowner to discuss the project in detail to ensure we are on the same page.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor of science degrees from the Ohio State University.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was raised in a lumber yard. After seeing the need for a good, honest contractor who puts the customer first I decided to form Sowers Contracting Llc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was called out for a roof repair, the homeowner was told by two previous contractors that the roof needed replaced. It was only 12 years old and had plenty of life left. We were able to diagnose the leak and repair instead of a complete tear off, saving the customer thousands.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at reviews and trust your gut. Do not give money upfront.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask for advice. You should have all your questions and concerns answered before the work begins.
