What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Get an estimate. Sign a contract with 10% deposit. Go through job details. (shingle color ect) Complete the job. Inspect the job with the customer. (using a drone) Pay the balance. All jobs have a warranty.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Family bussines with more than 25 years of experience. GAF certified. Owens Corning certified. Experience is really the needed education in this line of work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father has been doing roofing since 1990. I am walking in his steps now. I (Eddie) mainly run sales and partial crew supervision. My father is technical, and he deals mainly with major roof replacements.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mainly Residential. Comercial. Religious buildings. (slate roofs)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Roof replacement. If you get all the details right, your roof should last anywhere from 15-25 years. Regular roof inspections and maintenance should increase the life expectancy of your roof by %30.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

GET 3 ESTIMATES - Get an idea of the price range your repair or roof falls under. RESARCH A ROOFING PROCESS - ask questions and test out your contractor. INSURANCE - I can't stress this enough. make sure the roofer is insured BY CALLING THEIR INSURANCE AND PUTING YOUR NAME ON THEIR INSURANCE. CHECK PREVIOUS WORKS - Make sure the roofer shows a well organized portfolio of previous works. Get in touch with previous customers. PAPERWORK - Make sure he presents you with a detailed estimate and mentions every detail in the contract.

Research a roofing process. once familiar with the roofing process, questions will come naturally.
