What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have no hidden fees. All of our proposals are priced per line with itemized line. Our technicians cannot raise prices(Pad Contract). All of our home owners receive the Ultimate (3) separate warranties: A. Infinity Wind Warranty B. 25 year labor warranty covered by the manufacturing company C. 100% 50 year shingle material covered for full 50 years material and labor All our contractors must be factory certified as Master Elite Contractors(1% of Nation) They can issue this Golden Pledge Warranty

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

**************************************************************************************** Second we strongly urge homeowners to call the Better Business Bureau and check us out. Third we give them 2 days to do this before we go out with complete proposal figured from Eagle View or Government Satellite. Fourth we go through history of company, credentials, answer all their questions and go through a thorough breakdown of line by line of items and price Fifth we cover all warranties and go through budget program options all with zero down payment. If agreement is set we will schedule a date to come out with crew & project manager. When ALL work is completed and cleanup is final we sit down and go through warranties and settle up on contract.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My Background is Civil Engineering education. From there I began building homes. Did not like the long process so we started remodeling homes. In both cases a roof is needed and eventually we evolved into roofing full time. With our certificate as a homebuilder and reaching all the certifications with the shingle manufacturers we are rated as one of the top 1% of certified contractors in roofing. Allowing us to offer the homeowner the Golden Pledge and 5 star warranties at NO up charge. Its the best of the best for the homeowner.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As stated in #3 In building or remodeling we need roofing. In the process we learned as many Don't Do's as things to Do. For example, we found using subcontractors was a bad fit for us and the homeowner. When we brought in employee crews many problems went away and the homeowner receives a much better roofing system in workmanship and warranties.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all spectrums from low income homeowner we can offer financing with a low affordable payment to the corporate CEO who we offer 0 interest 0 payments up to 18 months. "Free Money" With both we put a Golden Pledge or 5 Star warranty on the roof for the homeowner at ZERO cost to them and only 1% of contractors nationwide are certified to give these "3" warranty upgrades.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

It was a roundhouse like a giant baseball. 5 other contractors looked at the project and walked away. This just shows the continued wide range of difficulty. We can handle with our superb crews. The average residential roof takes 1-2 days. This house took 3 days only because of the steps required to properly do each section.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First and foremost verify that the company has a current workman compensation policy in effect. Demand to look at their certificate and check dates. Second, Make sure the company is located in your state and the representative you are talking with lives locally Third, make sure that the crews are in house employees(not subcontractors) Fourth, Never give a deposit on roofing. The company has NO REASON to collect or need money up front. Only pay them when the job is finished. Fifth, Check the company certifications from the factory. Only a Master Elite or Select Shingle Master contractor can give (3) upgraded warranties A. Material 100% 50 year B. Labor 25 years C. Wind Infinity ALL 3 of these warranties come from the manufacturing company and can only be issued from the Master Elite(Golden Pledge Warranty)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Show all of #7, Ask for references before you meet, get number to the BBB in that area. This helps get the storm chaser and fly by night roofers out. North Carolina is a non regulated state which means the roofer has NO permit, NO license and there is NO inspector for residential roofers. This is one reason the average roofing company is only business 8 months or less. BEWARE!!! Check the company out.
