I have been roofing for over 26 years, having worked hands on diagnosing, installing and repairing roofs, to being the head of quality control for Baker Roofing, one of the largest roofing companies in the nation and now into my 3rd year owning and running my own roofing company. Having the opportunity to now be a local, family owned business, I take pride in my high standards for quality and lifetime workmanship warranty, which other companies do not provide. I enjoy what I do and spend extra time on the small details to ensure that I am providing the highest quality work possible. I enjoy developing a long lasting relationship with all of my customers as well as providing an excellent experience to make the roof repair or installation process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love to meet new people, I usually will arrange to meet at a time most convenient for both of us, in this first meeting we discuss the issue and various solutions. This first meeting also gives both of us the opportunity to talk and see if we have a good rapport, I feel that is so important to a healthy work relationship between customer and contractor. I have met some really wonderful people just by working on their homes

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been roofing for 25 years, I accumulated my experience on the roof everyday . I am very well versed I’m most roofing systems .

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I kind of fell into it 😂 no pun intended, A friend and his brother owned a roofing company and offered me a job, I told them if I didn’t get hired at my next interview that I would be at their shop the following Monday. Soooo I showed up at their roofing company that Monday and I haven’t looked back

What types of customers have you worked with?

I was asked to give a quote for a geodesic dome roof. The customer had already bought his own materials, I thought it looked like an interesting project and that it would be great for advertisement, well I quoted it 😂, it took 4 times longer than i anticipated but I’m proud of how it turned out.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for pictures of someone’s work, most will be happy to show you . If you don’t get the feeling you can trust someone then don’t hire them. Hire local
