Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I provide free estimates. After I look at the potential project, I price the materials that I will need to do the job and then provide a free estimate so that I can make sure that I am not overcharging nor undercharging since material prices are constantly changing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I set up an in-person meeting to give an estimate and explain what I do and what products I use. If the customer decides to hire me, I ask that a contract be signed by the customer and a customer gets a copy of it. I then take pictures of before and after and do a walk around with the customer once the job is done to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with my work. Customer satisfaction is my highest priority!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Over 18 years experience roofing and was taught how to do roofs correctly by a roofing inspector.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I first started doing this type of work by getting working roof and construction experience throughout my life. When I first started doing roofs over 18 years ago, a roofing inspector taught and trained me on how to do roofs and how to do them correctly.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Literally all kinds of customers! I am truly grateful for each and every customer, after all, they are who keeps me going!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Talk to the owner and make sure they talk to you about how they perform the job or what needs to be done to complete the job as it should be. The point is for the customer to be well informed of what is needed, what can and what should be done, how it can be done, and what options there are.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about how much the price of materials are for the job to be completed as it should be with great quality. Also, customers should think through how much they are willing to invest into a certain project.
