What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer competitive pricing with transparent estimating and billing. No hidden fees, and up-front communication on pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We offer free inspections for damage and will work directly with your insurance company to make sure all bases are covered and your house is returned to its state before the storm. If insurance won't be involved, we offer free estimates for retail jobs. We will meet at the customer's house, measure the project, and build a custom estimate for the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Sergey, the owner of Lifetime Builders, was a hand-on siding laborer since he was 15 years old. After 14 years of siding labor, he opened Lifetime Builders to assist customers in the Twin Cities with their exterior projects. His experience totals more than 20 years in roofing and siding, and his crews have hundreds of years of experience in siding and roofing. Lifetime Builders also holds a current and up-to-date General Building Contractor's license in the State of Minnesota.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Sergey began working as a sider on his father's crew when he was 15 years old. After many years in the field doing siding and roofing, he opened his own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all types of customers, no job is too big or too small for Lifetime Builders. We work with storm damage customers who have insurance to pay for their replacements, but we also have many retail customers who just wish to upgrade their homes or replace old roofs or siding.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently completed a roof of over 40 squares in Plymouth on the lake. Our roofing crew did great quality work and we finished in just over a day and a half of work. The home looked great with a new roof, and construction time was very quick without sacrificing quality.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you're doing a retail job with no insurance, make sure to research the companies, make sure they are licensed, and they have good experience. Also, get multiple bids to make sure the price you are paying is competitive.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should consider their budget, their desired products - professionals can usually help recommend products based on budget and quality, and a time frame they would like the job completed in. Also consider how you will be paying for the services - many professionals (like us) will charge a 3% fee for using a credit card, for instance.
