What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We will require a deposit before scheduling and payment within 7 days of the work completion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with an in home consultation and inspection. Then discuss the scope of work and design details. After that will come pricing and scheduling.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

What goes into a roofing or siding install. What materials best fit your needs. And common problems that can occur from an incorrect installation, or why your roof or siding failed to begin with.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was injured in basic training and came home with a medical discharge. I started working for a local contractor who taught me the trade. After that I became a subcontractor working for many of the big businesses you see advertised online installing there roofs and siding. I eventually went out on my own and stated serving my own homeowners.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with homeowners that own small and large primary homes, landlords with multiple properties and small business owners with storefronts.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently roofed a small gazebo for the Hillsdale Olympic shooting range, that got a curved hidden fastener metal roof in a beautiful western rust paint.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are licensed and know not just a lot about the roofing product but also underlayment materials, flashing details, and metal roofing paint.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What their budget is and how long they will need their product to last.
