Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We strive to offer the best products for the best price. In order to do so we keep our overhead as low as possible. We also offer financing and always have some form of a discount offered at the time of sale.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process is to ask a lot of questions to ensure we can provide the right product and to educate our customers on why we do things the way we do. We want to make sure we can make them comfortable in choosing us.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied marketing at Ferris State University and have learned on the job over the last 20+ years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It all started when I remodeled a restaurant when I was in college. After seeing how many different products were available, I saw a need to educate homeowners on which one would be best for them.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with homeowners, business owners, and property managers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
It seems recently every patio door we replaced has had a serious problem related to improper installation. We have fixed headers, rebuilt walls, and added proper flashing to ensure there wouldn’t be any issues after we left the home. We try to do these little things for free in hopes that our customers will come back to us for other projects.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice is to look for a quality company with good reviews, products which last in this harsh climate, installers who are qualified, and offer a fair price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is our budget? What colors/styles are we looking for? Do we need financing? What needs to be changed? Why are we doing this? How will it affect us and our home?
