1815 Harvest Grove rd Prince Frederick After a storm customer had their door knocked on over and over again by storm chasing companies and commissioned sales companies, they were uncomfortable, moving forward with any of them, they called us from seeing our retail roofing and renovation projects in their neighborhood. We came out and performed a damage inspection and created a damage inspection report, provided it for them, and their insurance company, we then met their insurance adjuster at the property. Couple days later, we showed proof that the shingles were discontinued and showed proof of storm damage.. The insurance company approved the job for replacement instantly, and because of our good standing, gave the approval, scope and ACV deposit dollars all within the same day of the adjuster meeting. 1935 Bright Ln Huntingtown MD. Customers insurance company was going to make him pay to have the solar panels removed, we were able to interact with the insurance company on his behalf to get the solar panel removal, storage and reinstall covered, and of course we were able to physically do the work since the solar panel company was not gonna be able to get to it for at least three months.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
It’s very important to find out if you are talking with a general contractor/roofing contractor, or a sales company. The sales companies appear to be general contractors/roofing installers but, they are just groups of commissioned sales men and woman that subcontract everything out from labor to project management. A great test to find out what type of company you are dealing with is ask them when you first speak “ what is your general price per square?” A roofing contractor will be able to answer that question immediately but a sales company will not answer that question directly as they will need to spend time with you to see what they are able to charge . Of course always check the companies Google business page and Google reviews as well as they’re standing with the Better Business Bureau . The Better Business Bureau is not the same type of organization it used to be but, all qualified roofing contractors are in good standing with them .

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Make sure to ask the contractor what their general price per square is for roof installation Make sure to ask the contractor if they are licensed and bonded with insurance and Workmen’s compensation Make sure and ask if there will be actual in-house employees of the contractors company that I’m involved with all work/installations Make sure to ask if the contractor has multiple options on manufacturers and material types Make sure to ask the contractor what they’re in writing workmanship warranty’s are Make sure to ask the contractor what the manufacture warranty is our Make sure to ask the contractor if they are awarded the job. When will they be able to start and what type of project time window will be needed? Make sure to ask the contractor if they offer financing and if so, what are the options and what are the terms
