What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The price of job will depend on how long is going to take, if the job is easy task or difficult. The materials cost and labor.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First of all, if the costumer contacts me and is looking for my service. I meet them at their home once they have provided their address. I take measurements, take a look what needs to done, explain the damages of roof, and proceed to give them the estimate. If customer is happy with the estimate, I give some paperwork to sign which will contain estimate price, warranty, roofing license, scope of work, and notice that the final price might change due to extra work to be done. In case of interior structure work might needed to be done. For instance, possible rotten plywoods, wood boards, and rafters might need to be replaced .

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to college, got an associate degree, and completed some courses relating to construction.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

At 14 years old I started working as a labor then throughout years of working in roofing I learn how to install shingles and how the roofing job should be done.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have provide my service to different customers, people from different backgrounds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I installed gutters and did flat roofing, completed in three days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The professional you are hiring should be licensed, in my case, a roofing license. If you are hiring a professional where license is not necessary, they should at least have liability insurance and work's compensation.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If they are hiring a roofing contractor, think about the color of shingles, what type of brand of shingles they want, get estimates, prepare for high estimates, if the roof has been neglected there might more damages to your roof.
