unfold fold
Customers should always verify that they are working with a bonded, insured, licensed, and certified roofing contractor before signing the contract. Don't hesitate to get quotes from a few contractors and never be afraid to ask for references. Customer should always ask lots of questions of any contractor, especially if there is something they don't understand. Any roofing contractor should be eager to educate their customers about the investment they are making on their property.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Apex Roofing recommends customer ask any prospective roofing contractor the following questions: How long have you been in this business? Do you have a contracting license? Can I see your certificate of insurance? Will you obtain the permits and set up the inspections required for this job? What is our timeline for completion? What is the payment schedule? Will I have a dedicated team working on my job? What way would you like me to get in touch with you? What is your working day like? How will you clean up at the end of the day? How and where will tools and materials be stored if the job spans multiple days? What steps will you take to protect my property? How will additional charges be dealt with? Is there a warranty for your service or for the materials you’ll be using? How do we resolve any disagreements?
