Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing varies on the type of project. We offer financing options and GAF Roofs for Troops discounts. Additionally, our customers get rewarded through our Customer Referral Program.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process starts by assessing your roof to understanding the current condition and effort it will take to deliver a high-quality product that meets your expectations. Once we perform an inspection we provide a detailed report outlining the best solutions and steps to move forward. When you approve the desired solution we proceed with ordering materials and schedule the project start date. Once the materials are delivered and the project starts it usually takes around 2 days to complete and perform a final inspection to ensure everything is perfect.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
37+ years of industry experience, GAF’s Prestigious 2018 President’s Club Award, GAF Master Elite Contractor, National Roofing Contractor Association Member, Certified Green Roofer, and Habitat for Humanity Partner.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started with my family in Texas, we have now been a family-owned business for more than 30 years and have helped many communities in Texas and Florida to rebuild their homes and recover from high impact disasters.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with homeowners and local businesses in Florida and Texas for 37+ years. Our work experience stretches from the smallest roof repair to larger commercial roof projects. We specialize in providing roof installation, roof replacement and roof repair services to customers affected by an act of God (storm, hurricane, hail, fire etc.).

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We always make an effort to give our customers the best experience even if we have to sit with them on the phone and go through the proposal or a project contract word by word. This was no exception with one of our last customers, once we finished going through everything with him as we usually do with every customer he thanked us and said how much he appreciated this and that this was one of the only times that a company took the time to go over all the paperwork with him and that this made a huge deal for him because he has a vision impairment and was not going to be able to go through it on his own. We did not know this until the end of the project and it made us really happy to know that our standard way of operating provides our disability customers with the best experience possible in the market.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Customers looking for roofing companies should pay attention to certifications, reviews and ratings of previous customers on different channels, value proposition, and types of warranties offered by the service provider and the manufacturer. It’s also important to know if the provider is licensed, and the craftsmen insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What types of warranties do you offer? Do you offer a workmanship and material warranty? Is your warranty backed by the manufacturer? What types of materials do you use? Which manufacturers do you collaborate with? How do you proceed with the project? What happens if my insurance agency doesn’t agree with the estimate? What type of assistance can I expect with regards to decisions on roof materials, roof design, and the required paperwork?
