Introduction

Your No Bull Roofer. Are you looking for a different kind of roofer? Honest, straight forward and stress free. We will explain the insurance process or cash estimate for your roofing project in terms you understand. The owner is not only licensed in roofing but also is a CO licensed insurance producer. License #341254 Eastern Slope Roofing LLC is owned and operated by a local female veteran, many of my customers are women because they feel they can ask me anything and not feel stupid or intimidated. I sometimes joke I was a woman before I was a roofer. ESR is fully insured and licensed. We install all types of roofing, residential and commercial. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every roofing project is different. Is the building 2 story, how many layers of material, what is the existing material, access, how steep is the roof and other variables can come into play when providing an estimate, that is why an on site visit is required. Most of the time we have a special available to Veterans.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
To determine their needs through an inspection. Attention to details. If damage is found I will explain the complete insurance process and what to expect through the re roofing process. If it is a repair or insurance is not covering, I will provide a competitve cash estimate. I will review the differences in material that are available for their project. In many cases we will provide upgrades at no additional cost. An informed customer is a happy customer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started out as a canvasser in 2010, moved into a project manager position in 2011 worked for several local large roofing companies as a subcontractor and decided I could provide better service to the community by opening up Eastern Slope Roofing LLC in 2015.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with homeowners who reside in and out of State, with Real Estate Agents, and Property Managers. I am very happy to state at this time most of my customers are repeat customers or referrals of past customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Most roofing projects take 1 day to complete and are scheduled out 1-2 weeks after the insurance has approved the project and the insurance company has provided the first payment check. Factors that may extend this time frame include installers schedule during high demand after large hail storms and other weather events, and occasionally in the winter due to snow or temperates below 40 degrees.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Verify credentials! When a roofer says they are an insurance specialist. Go to Dora.state.co and verify they are licensed. Go to pprbd.org verify they are local and licensed. Something that requires a little more effort is go to the dept of State web site then pprbd.org site, the owner should be the license holder for a variety of reasons! Verify materials promised are the materials delivered and installed. Don't accept vague terms like 30year LLT shingles, get the brand name. Learn about the products being installed. Take the time to learn about the differences in materials, they can vary greatly in quality. Do not choose a roofing company based solely on PAID endorsements, local or national radio or tv ads. These people are PAID to do these ads! Hire local, because response time will be quicker if you need a repair.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What type of material would they like to replace existing roof. Getting an estimate based on price is a very bad idea! A customer should have a through understanding of materials needed for the project, because there are several roofing companies out there who will provide a low estimate to win your business and if you are not clear on the material differences you most likely will not be a satisfied customer. A homeowner should get their roof inspected prior to calling their insurance company because if there is not enough damage for a claim to be filed this can be considered a zero claim, this will be held against the homeowner.
