Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our Inspections are free of charge. For repairs or replacement cash bids, we can provide full report details along with an estimate to within 48 hours. When we work with clients on storm restoration projects, we utilize the Xactimate software program for pricing. This is the same pricing software that is used by insurance companies and adjusters which is updated monthly per zip code by a third party. For this reason, we focus our assessment on defining the scop of work to be done to restore the exteriors of each property. Clients will find on our contracts for storm restoration projects, we work solely for "Insurance Approved Proceeds" and negotiate directly with the Insurance Company on behalf of the homeowner. This ensures the only cost to our clients in the Insurance deductible. As a homeowner it is vital to remember that your Insurance company is motivated to create a quick estimate based on the obvious roof and exterior damages at the lowest cost possible. Our team of experts are motivated to maximize the scope of work for each client's exteriors utilizing municipality code coverages and material upgrades that clients are entitled to under their policy.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once a request is submitted, we will call to schedule a free inspection. After we perform the inspection, we are able to explain damages, materials and warranties right on the spot. If a repair is requested, we can provide a verbal estimate and follow up with a written estimate on the same day. We are experts in assisting with the details of insurance claims. If storm damages are present, we will put together a full photo report of damages and will coordinate to be there when your adjuster comes out to inspect the damages on your roof. This allows us to be your advocate and ensure all aspects of storm damages are considered.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team has worked with several local property owners and managers on different types of projects: residential and commercial. From Asphalt shingles, asphalt rolled roofing, real slate, metal, tile, pavers with elevated pedestal systems, flat TPO, PVC, EPDM, EPDM fleeceback, and Hot Tar Roofs. We have multiple certifications from companies such as Atlas, Boral, Certainteed, GAF, GACO, Owens Corning and more. We are also HAAG certified inspectors and licensed independant adjusters to speak the same language as insurance companies in the storm restoration process. We are constantly training on new materials and procedures to be the industry leaders.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We saw the need for a roofing company that can do every part of the process with exceptional customer service and Integrity. From HAAG certified inspections to intricate Insurance claims and finally a professional install with upgraded products that will stand the test of time.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with commercial and residential developers, property managers and building owners, but we are experts when it comes to helping homeowners with the insurance claim process in storm restoration. We hold ourselves to very high standards when it comes to advocating for our clients. We bring integrity to the roofing industry and always put our clients first no matter what type of project we may be contacted/contracted for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
For storm restoration projects, It is important to have a certified and well qualified roofing contractor that speaks the same language as the Insurance Company and Adjuster to assist in maximizing the scope of work to restore the property. If you can, call us first. We can help walk through the claim process and make this complicated project as simple as possible. If you call your Insurance Company first, that is okay! The sooner we can get an inspection and photo report completed, the sooner we can coordinate with your assigned Adjuster to be on site at time of their Inspection to help identify the full scope of work for damages. It is also beneficial to utilize a company, such as ours, that offers workmanship warranties with every project. For repairs or replacement cash bids, including commercial projects, it is important to have a well rounded team of roofing experts, like us, to support the goals for each property/project both financially and environmentally. We want to ensure the best solution is met and sustainable.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before speaking with professionals, customers should consider the following: 1. What type of roofing services do I need? (repair, replacement, inspection, etc.) 2. What is my budget? Is this an Insurance Claim project? 3. What are the specific issues or concerns I have about my roof? 4. What type of roofing material do I prefer? 5. What is the time frame for completing the project? 6. Do I need any additional services such as gutter installation or skylight installation? By considering these questions, customers can ensure a more efficient and productive discussion with roofing professionals, ultimately resulting in a successful project outcome.
