I am honest and transparent with pricing. I stick with my original estimate unless there are some unusual things that couldn't be seen.

I normally like to schedule a phone call to ask questions about a project so that I can give an accurate estimate of labor costs and tools and materials that I may need. A phone consultation is much quicker than texting back and forth and likely can save you money by increasing the chance that i have the right tools and materials for the job.Also having an accurate description and photos helps immensely.

After being Honorable discharged from Air Force in 1984 a house framing contractor hired me on as apprentice carpenter. Worked for various remodeling companies after that including building and remodeling Taco Time restaurants in western Washington. I have totally gutted and rehabbed several homes. I have installed approximately 240 microwaves for 4 separate condo buildings. I have remodeled countless kitchens and baths, tiled 60 showers, hundreds of appliances installed and repaired, toilets,water heaters, faucets, doors ,trim, shelves, light fixtures, drywall patches.

Contractors, architects,interior designers, realtors,property managers, landlords and home owners.

I can't really say that I have a favorite project. I have done so many projects in the last 40 years and i really like doing lots of different tasks as it keeps me from getting bored.

You want to make sure the contractor has several years of experience and clients that have been satisfied using them several years.
