Introduction

A carpenter and builder of over 25 years, I take pride in ensuring complete customer satisfaction, efficient responding, reliable reporting of the completion of quality work and dedicated honesty and transparency across all projects. I love smaller projects that require attention to detail. My experience ranges from deck repair, small remodeling projects to hanging light fixtures, shelves pictures etc. I also do wooden closet organizers, drywall patch/repair. I take pride in my work and would like my name to be spread by quality.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I charge by the hour. There are times in remodeling/ repair that not all issues are known before the old is removed. To do a quality job the underlying issue needs to be addressed. If any other issues arise it is always discussed in full with the homeowner so there is a clear line of communication.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I begin with listening to the homeowner's desires, issues and expectations. In discussing those I will insert my thoughts and ideas. I always strive to make sure the customer knows that their outcome and vision is what I am to achieve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been working construction since 1995. I have worked residential and commercial construction. I love residential and do not care to work commercial construction ever again. I have built houses from the ground up, digging footers to putting the roof caps on but I just prefer the smaller projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I needed to make money to buy my first car and never stopped doing it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with the elderly and handicapped. I have worked with night shift employees trying to make sure they can get their sleep as well as families with a new born working around the babies nap time. Sometimes that can be a little difficult but I try to accommodate. I do not enjoy working for people that are rude and unpleasant so if that is your demeaner please don't reach out. I am easy to get along with and always appreciate the same.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would like to have someone who is punctual and responsive. Someone who communicates well, on the phone or in person. Those two qualities can keep a working relationship strong.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The budget seems to be quite key. Almost all projects will be a little bit more than one might think especially in remodeling. Making sure you and your partner are on the same page. I hate taking out a days worth of work because the plan got changed without consulting the other.
