Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is based on what it takes to get the job done, and completed correctly. All of our pricing is upfront and flat rate. We will always offer you multiple options, that way we can provide something for everyone’s budget. Remember, “You only cry once for quality.”

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Biggest thing is just making sure we are a fit for each other. So, with that being said when we come into your home we ensure we find out as much as possible about who you are, as well as ensuring you know who we are. We will also find out what problems you may have so we can ensure we provide you will all the solutions available. This by no means, means you have to choose any of them, but we will make sure you are aware of all of them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Education in this trade is ongoing. We are continuously attending classes and seminars that way we can make sure we are up to date on all of the latest information pertaining to our craft. This allows us to do the best job possible for you!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Well all of us here at Service First have taken separate paths to get here. Some of us fell into the trade after getting out of the military. Some of us got into the trade after being a home builders for years and wanting to try something different. At the end of the day, we love what we do and would not change it for anything. Greatest job we ever had!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds. It’s our job, we deal with all kinds of personalities. We do make sure we are a good fit for you, as well as us before we decide to move forward with any job.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
It would defiantly be the Geothermal job that we did. It was just an intriguing process and something new for us. With some team work, we got it done and it’s worked flawlessly

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure it’s a good fit for both! Ask questions, and don’t hold anything back. When we ask questions, remember we are there to help. Have reasonable expectations, I.E, if your system has not been maintained for a few years, have an opened mind, things will need to be addressed, it is not “working perfect”. Heating and cooling systems are like any other piece of machinery, they have to have regular maintenance!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Am I prepared to do this now? If you are looking to have the project done months down the road then hold off, in todays market prices will not be guaranteed for more then 7 days. How am I paying for this project? Most companies offer financing. Will I be able to have all parties that make decisions available during the meeting? As a company we understand that multiple people may help you make decisions. Because of this, we typically like to go over all options for replacement or repairs when all parties are present at the time of the visit.
