What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is based on the estimated loads for you needs. Examples being half truck load, 1 truck load, 2 truck loads,etc. Weight of item can impact pricing as well such as gym equipment, appliances, as those are deemed heavy items. I provide free estimates and always willing to be fair with pricing as my rates are usually lower than competitors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My process for any new customer is greeting them and ask probing questions. Get a clear understanding of all needing to be removed and hauled? Getting pictures of the items or clear insight to provide as accurate quote possible. Reviewing their days and times to get the job done as soon as possible based on my customer convenience. Strong communication to let them know I am dependable and reliable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked for moving companies before as well as landscaping background. This allows me to know more within this work. Knowing how to break down certain furniture and what equipment is needed for efficient removal. Landscaping background as well allows me to service yard waste and debris pick up such as mulch, wood chips, trees/limbs/branches in removal needs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had my grandma who I used to do trash pickup for. She was elderly and couldn’t afford to pay for the garbage man to get her recyclable items and trash. Being my grandma I volunteered to do it free every week for her. Safe to say her word of mouth with her community allowed me to start picking up others trash and unwanted items. From there I know I was doing a good service and helping my community in the same breath. Providing a quality service but also of value and affordable. That is what led me to starting my own business and offering those same things to this day. I am built on being efficient, timely, professional, polite, and affordable.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with residential customers as well as small businesses to service junk removal and haul needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a recent job that I was proud of. We had a bad storm and the very next day I had a customer reach out. He had a rental property where a tenant had a big branch from a tree collapse. With the brach there were many limbs that came down as well putting lots of pressure on the fence. I was reached out the following morning of the storm and luckily had same day availability where I was able to get out that morning to remove the branch and tree limbs. I was able to also cut the remaining branches back that was leaning on the fence to prevent further collapse as well as making sure the fence wasn’t further damaged. Within 2 hours this was completed and my customer was ecstatic.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Get someone who is informative and knows what they are doing related to your request. Someone experienced that can provide insight to the how they will get it done and can speak to the pricing. You want someone that will care about their work but equally for the customer. Someone who will get the job done right the first time without cutting corners. You want someone who takes pride and ownership in their work and service they provide.

Is this something I can do myself or actually need a pro? What is a realistic price point for my request? Am I looking for efficiency and quality work? Have I reviewed a pro details in depth and saw their work before inquiring?
