What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not charge to bid a job, I am fair and up front on my pricing and not looking to “jip” anybody. I do a good job for a fair price,

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If I can’t fix it over the phone I love to come out and figure out what problems a customer is having- whether it’s plumbing or irrigation I always communicate the problem first- provide a solution and cost comparison on options, and do what the customer feels comfortable within city code.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a plumber for 5 years and completed a 4 year apprenticeship including schooling and MTECH

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started doing irrigation with my dads company when I was young- after that I joined the military and was coming home from an assignment with no idea of a future in sight. I happened upon Mike Rowe from “dirty jobs” and heared him taking about how plumbers are in high demand- luckily I knew a great grandpa, grandpa, cousin , and uncle who were all plumbers so I decided to try it and I LOVED IT.

I have worked with a whole spectrum of people- from elderly to newly weds. From real estate agents to business owners and everything in between, including those who can’t be satisfied

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your professional is using quality parts and supplies. Also make sure they are taking precautions for freezing being on Utah. Make sure they are pricing fair. They need to make money- but they don’t need to take all of yours .

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should know what their end goal is - whether it’s fixing a problem , or starting a whole new project.
