Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Here at Mr Rooter Plumbing, we are famous for our “14 Steps.” we have a process from start to finish on how to create a great customer experience from the time we park the van, putting on booties before we enter the home, to talking through options with the customer and ultimately finding the right solution. Put us to the test!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have a team with someone that’s been plumbing for 30 years down to someone who is just getting into this business. That range allows us to have the expertise needed to do any job, and it’s balanced with a mentality of asking questions and finding other solutions.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I love small business, and I love helping neighbors and customers and the community. As our mission statement says, “No one wakes up and wants to call a plumber. We make them happy they called us.” It’s satisfying to turn a bad situation into a good one for our customers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have homeowners as customers, as well as restaurants and commercial buildings. We’ve seen quite a bit ;).

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently had a customer whose neighborhood was installing fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable company ended up bursting right through his sewer line and causing some damage. We were able to dig, repair, and bury that line to get him back up and running within 24 hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Aside from the typical things like licensing and experience, pay attention to the little things. How well do they communicate with you, in tough scenarios? How clean and tidy do they try to keep your home when they are in there from beginning to end? How do they respond to you if you tell them no? Do they offer you multiple options? Sometimes these are hard to pick up on until after, but pay attention to the little things.
