Retention Program: After one regular price service, any and all subsequent services from irrigation to handiwork, will drop to below market prices. Example : $125 paid for a service, now next service is between $100 and $75. Respect the trades, respect the work. Use Craigslist or ask a friend to assist if your are unwilling to pay the most basic of entry level prices for tasks that many have taken years to master. I DO NOT WANT you as a client, so choose other options.

Head irrigation technician at a Bay Area golf course, years ago. Decided to tackle the puzzle of repairs full time.

Every type imaginable. I truly embrace the variety.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recent simple valve repair for a client that had a leak. No irrigation timer, & wanted one. Client had an $1800 quote from a service provider in Thumbtack. Provider oversold the issue. Happyland’76 replaced valve with battery timer / installed with free shut off valve $125.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do they know what they are doing? Labor vs a skilled visionary often offers varied results.
