Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are a premium insured and bonded company. Our Technicians are background screened and drug tested. We will likely never offer the cheapest price but we guarantee the quality of our work. We offer senior and military discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will provide a free on-site estimate for most medium to larger jobs but we can also review your pictures and videos to complete an estimate online.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
33 years of personal experience in construction and home repair. Our team has a combined 90 years of hands on home maintenance and repair experience. We are also certified with Age Safe America as Senior Home Safety Specialists.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It is in my blood. I grew up in a construction family designing and building custom homes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We focus on all local Homeowners in the Hill Country area. Our typical clients are busy families and seniors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We are most proud of all of the senior home modifications we perform. From simply adding grab bars to a bath or shower to helping remove trip hazards and adding ramps to make their home safer. It is our core mission to help our senior community age in place safely and proudly. We provide no cost home safety evaluations to any senior in the area.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure to check reviews and review the quality of work. It is very important that whoever you hire to come into your home is insured. Most homeowners do not know that if you hire an uninsured contractor and something goes wrong it falls back on the homeowners insurance policy to settle any claims. Don't take that risk. Ask to see a copy of their general liability insurance policy. Good contractors will have a copy with them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Decide on the scope of the work ahead of time. It is ok to have a long list of projects but make sure to ask them for individual estimates on each project. Once you have all of the estimates you can then decide on what makes sense for your budget. Most contractors will discount additional projects since they are already at the job site.
