What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I require 50% upfront and the remaining 50% after the project is complete. I always give a discount to all first responders and military.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I worked for a professional plumbing company in the Upstate for several years, who were always training their employees and provided on the job training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I worked for a plumbing, heating and air company as a dispatcher, I wanted to get out in the field and learn one of the trades. I did a ride along with one of the plumbers at the company and was immediately hooked to plumbing.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a customer that was without hot water, once I arrived and spoke with her, she said her and her family had been without hot water for a month. I was able to get her and her family hot water again and she was very happy and thrilled. That’s why I love doing what I do.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who is dressed professionally, shirt tucked in, how they present themselves and how they greet you when you answer the door. Shoe covers speaks volumes and it shows the customer that the contractor respects you and your home.
